Assignment Objectives

Apply ethical principles to situations which challenge one’s own principles. Apply the basic tenets of Immanuel Kant, John Stuart Mill and Aristotle’s approaches to the concept of justice and “do no harm” to healthcare ethical situations. Explain the notion of “character,” personal and professional values, code of conduct and integrity, and relate these to a concept of healthcare leadership.
