PROBLEM STATEMENT: The main problem is that Mark Zuckerberg only focuses on the improvement of technology instead of progress of the business. It is seen that developers of Facebook mainly work on development of the platforms through which they can make easy for users to use specific application for specific task such as Instagram. Although, Facebook founder wants to eliminate the barrier by making the internet accessible to all, the graph of profit is not that much increasing. Therefore, there must be some implementation which can result in better profit.

External Data Analysis: According to the case, there are some factors that affect the Facebook and its growth or business:

1. Impact of another apps such as Instagram put pressure on Facebook developers to make such innovative platforms which can satisfy the demands of users.
2. According to Mark, most of the tech companies focus on the growth of business instead of development of technology. Therefore, Mark decided to find the ways to improve technology in every aspect that’s why he invested billions of dollars.
3. It is observed that the digital companies are not developing Hi-tech drones or cameras therefore Facebook created its own Innovation think Tank called the connectivity.
4. Mark Zuckerberg’s personal reasons give him dedication to make things more innovative such as his wish to make his daughters’ video during first walk gave him ideas for innovative cameras.
5. Due to specific application for specific task, many users move from Facebook to another applications therefore Facebook invested huge amount to acquire Instagram.
