An information technology company received an information system development project. Jeff was appointed the project manager for this project. He had worked in the company for over 10 years and had rich experience in app development. However, this was the first time he took the role of project manager. In the planning stage of the project, Jeff formulated a very detailed project plan, and the work of project team members was fully scheduled. In order to speed up the progress of the project, right after formulating the project plan, Jeff distributed it to the project team members for implementation. However, during the course of the project, due to the continuously changing requests by the client and staff turnover, the original project plan was no longer feasible. Jeff has to be engaged in re-planning every day and the daily work of team members was often arranged in the morning of that day. The project began to go out of control. Some team members even questioned the significance of making the project plan since the plan changes fast. On the one hand, the client urges Jeff for project completion. On the other hand, the senior manager of the company felt that Jeff failed to manage the project well. (a) Discuss the main content that should be included in the project plan made by Jeff.
