Q: What do you think may be the reason for the above problems in the company? What suggestions do you have for the company on its management recruitment?

MG is a medium-sized, 15-year-old company with more than 10 chain stores. In the past few years, around 50% of the middle and senior managers recruited from outside the company were unable to meet the assessment indicators set by the company, and their work performances are significantly lower than those who were promoted within the company. In the past two years, nine of the company’s externally hired middle and senior managers have automatically resigned or have been fired. After this series of middle and senior managers’ resignation incidents occurred, the chairman and the executive vice president asked the human resources department to provide solutions in order to completely solve the current personnel recruitments’ problems and take effective actions to fundamentally improve the quality of the company’s talent recruitments.
