You’re the sales representative for large butcher. On your desk you find a note from the receptionist saying: “Please call Sandra from The Taco Shack after 3pm regarding an order for 10 cases of beef”. (This is what Sandra told the receptionist). • You email Sandra, from The Taco Shack a quote for 10 cases of ground beef, the monthly special. You do not hear back from your email to Sandra. You follow-up with an email a week later asking if Sandra needed additional information and you still hear nothing back. • A month goes by and you decide to call Sandra about her quote to see if she is ready to purchase. • When you call Sandra she informs you she did not want ground beef, she wanted 10 cases of steak. • She also informs you she has chosen to go with a competitor and hangs up.
